Langsyn (Farsight), the second album by the Scandinavian ensemble Tak For Dit Brev, is a series of "sound letters" created as a musical response to the personal experiences and inspirations of the bandleader, Simon Toldam. Toldam describes the album as a reaction to strong, lasting impressions, both uplifting and disheartening. Langsyn is a musical distillation of an evening spent at Gaarden & Gaden, where the music and atmosphere were created in close interplay with the audience, the venue's crew, and four sonic storytellers.
