Fujin Club - Fujin Biyori (2025) Hi-Res

Fujin Club, a pop art group of women living on Sado Island, returns with their first album in nine years since "Fujin Color". The album humorously captures island life, evoking city pop and Shibuya-kei while creating a unique world through classical and chamber-style arrangements. The lead track "Toki! Toki! Toki!" features lyrics by Chris Mosdell, who supported early YMO, and Japanese translation by Shuntaro Tanikawa. The musicians include Seigen Tokuzawa, Tomohiko Gondo, Manabu Chigasaki, and Tomohiro Harigae (Kinmokusei). The glossy vocals echoing from the deep mountains of the countryside embody the sophisticated charm of Sado.
