ROTH BART BARON's ninth chapter is a story of loss and rebirth. Its concept is "Not in this world, but in this world—my world." Rather than simply capturing reality, he presents a new direction, more selfish and bold than ever before, through a landscape that arises from within.

One of the album's signature tracks, "You're the Best Person in This World," sings, "You are the most beautiful person in this world." By deliberately unleashing a simple, unguarded choice of words, he sublimates a cynicism into a universally affirmative message. It's a hymn to humanity that resonates directly with listeners, celebrating the preciousness of living while dealing with the complex challenges of today's world. While the original concept was conceived several years ago, it finally arrived at this opus. The words, set to an unusually simple eight-beat rhythm, strike a chord with a straightforwardness that is remarkably poignant.

Musical challenges are also a major pillar of this album. The lead single, "Kitsunebi," fuses trackmaking with a band sound, utilizing Western instruments to express the ancient Japanese fox fire and the worldview of ukiyo-e. The song blurs the boundaries between the two worlds, marking a new frontier for a band previously crafting Western soundscapes with Japanese language sounds. Furthermore, "CRYSTAL (feat. Moeka Shiotsuka)," a surprise performance at 2024's "BEAR NIGHT," is a long-awaited collaboration with Shiotsuka Moeka of Hitsuji Kaminari. The two, who originally deepened their friendship as label mates and collaborated on the remix of "BLUE SOULS," have come to fruition on this track. True to the title, the duo's voices resonate as brilliantly as crystals, serving as a ray of hope illuminating Mifune's journey.

As the title "LOST AND FOUND" suggests, this album is a story about "what is lost and what is sought to be found again." ROTH BART BARON's unique fantasy world depicts the universal human experience of rising and regenerating after failure and loss. Honest, human, and boundlessly expansive, this work will bring listeners closer to it while also transporting them to new vistas.
