Nero Kane's third studio album, "Of Knowledge and Revelation," was released on September 30, 2022, via the experimental label Subsound Records in multiple physical and digital formats. The album, created in the dark/psychedelic folk genre, concludes a trilogy that began with the previous release "Tales of Faith and Lunacy." Recorded with producer Matt Bordin, it also features the collaboration of artist Samantha Stella, who handled the visual art and provided additional vocals, including vocal dialogues with Kane. The record is characterized by a cinematic and dark atmosphere, minimalistic acoustic guitar, meditative synth drones, and explores themes of death, religion, and love. Live performances related to the album are described as unsettling and ritualistic experiences. "Of Knowledge and Revelation" was warmly received by international critics and noted as one of the best releases of the year for its unique blend of dark beauty, sacredness, and neo-expressionist drama.
