The "Spring Revisited" project, a collaboration between Acid Jazz, Ace Records, and Cosmos Music, is a collection of remixes based on the music of the legendary 1970s soul label, Spring Records. The series launched with immediate success: Dmitri From Paris's mix of Millie Jackson’s ‘We Got To Hit It Off’ topped the UK 12-inch singles chart and was named the ‘Record of 2025’ at the ‘We Out There’ festival. The series also features remixes from influential DJs, including Kenny Dope, Dave Lee, and Joaquin 'Joe' Claussell, whose reworking of The Fatback Band's ‘Snake’ also hit number one. Spring Records, founded in the late 1960s, was a key platform for essential soul artists like Millie Jackson, Joe Simon, and The Fatback Band, who recorded their biggest hits there, such as ‘(Are You Ready) Do The Bus Stop’ and ‘If Loving You Is Wrong (I Don’t Wanna Be Right)’. The "Spring Revisited" album is presented as a beautifully designed Double-LP package, mastered for both home and club play, and pressed on characteristic Spring-themed green and white color vinyl.
