Terra Ignota is a collaborative musical project by a septet comprising members of Blood Quartet (Barcelona) and Dongyang Gozupa (Seoul). The project creates a science-fiction-inspired sound universe, combining traditional Korean music, including the yanggeum instrument, with alt-rock, free jazz, ambient, and cinematic narrative. Improvisation and the exploration of cultural origins are the driving forces behind the creation. The result is a sensory experience that integrates electronics, analog instrumentation, and visual scenography, forming an imaginary folklore that blends Korean traditions with avant-garde rock and abstract sound exploration.
