The band Tower of Power continues its activities with the album "Step Up," maintaining an active touring schedule and refreshing its lineup with new members, including vocalist Marcus Scott. He replaces Ray Greene, for whom this album was his last with the band. Veteran bassist Francis 'Rocco' Prestia is also ending his touring career and is replaced on tour by Marc Van Wageningen. Since its debut, the band's sound has remained true to its original idea: combining diverse elements of soul music into a single, emotional whole.
