For Halloween 2025, Strut Records is reissuing the rare album "Disco Frankenstein" by the group Ice, also known as Lafayette Afro Rock Band. Originally released in Japan in 1976, this compilation is a collection of experimental horror-disco and funk tracks recorded by the band in the mid-to-late 1970s under various pseudonyms. The release, remastered by The Carvery, will be available on limited edition vinyl and showcases a creative blend of funk, Afrobeat, and horror-themed synthesizer melodies.
