Shiho Yabuki's 1990 album "Pastoral Wind" is an ambient work created to relax the mind and body using the concept of "environmental aesthetics." The album's music is based on "1/f fluctuation" (pink noise), a sound characteristic found in natural sounds like babbling brooks or birdsong, which provides a comfortable state by being neither chaotic nor monotonous.
