The album from Jinje's project "A Brief Utopia" has been reinterpreted through a collection of reworks by six artists, each presenting their unique vision of the original material. The "A Brief Utopia" project itself was created by musician Lee J Malcolm (of the band Vessels) as a shift away from studio production towards a passion for live performance on drums and percussion. He was later joined by other musicians to create energetic live shows. The project's music is a colorful and engaging journey that draws inspiration from global ethnic motifs, combining them with live drumming, tuned percussion, and psychedelic synth work.
