Cerca del Lugar is the second studio album by Mexican singer, producer, percussionist, and DJ Paulina "Pahua" Sotomayor, released on September 12, 2025. The record was created and released independently, emphasizing the artist's creative freedom. The album consists of ten tracks and is a blend of organic sounds, synthesizers, and rhythms inspired by Latin American and African folklore.
The recording features collaborations with musicians from various countries: Ancestral Beats (Colombia), LaTorre (Ecuador), Timpana (Bolivia), and Sol Pereyra (Argentina).
