There's a hazy, meditative weight to Verses GT, not in an overtly emotional way, but as the result of intention and purpose. "Can we reduce the outlets and distill it down to its purest essence?" asks Greene, of their songwriting approach that sparks and insinuates throughout the album. "This is it. It's really betting on headspace and a feeling of being locked in."
