The Marvelettes' second album from 1962 is coupled with a live recording released the following year! The Marvelettes Recorded Live On Stage" released in 1963 are reissued in 2-in-1 format. The former features the charming M-6, a sequel to the classic "Please Mr. Postman," M-1, which was also covered by Mari Sono, M-2, the theme song for the movie of the same name, M-5, which was later cut as a single by Ringo Starr, and M-8, a hit by Chubby Checker, This is a very happy album filled with the charm of classic songs from the Early Soul era! The live recording coupled with the live performance is a realistic live performance of the single songs from 1961-1963, which is a highlight of the band's heyday.
