Peo Alfonsi, Fausto Beccalossi, Salvatore Maiore - Ammentos (2004)

The band Ammentos, which means "memories" in Sardinian, was formed in 2003. The meeting of the musicians began with a collaboration, during which they worked on joint projects, often related to Sardinia. Having already worked together on various musical projects, they decided to embark on this adventure, born of common experience and common passion, such as the romance of their compositions, their energy of interpretation and love for ethnic rhythms. Striving for sound is their absolute priority, both in choosing a repertoire that is completely original and in arrangements that are carefully crafted to achieve the most expressive sound textures. The music of this trio can be described as a perfect combination of classical, ethnic and jazz sounds. Their music permeates their diverse experience, making it their own, reinterpreting it with a completely personal vision, using an exceptionally intuitive process.
