Christoph Vogel (Ghostloop) about his album: “It’s a collection of nine ambient pieces — soundscapes shaped by personal moments and quiet shifts I experienced over the past year, many of them spent in nature.
I worked with field recordings I captured during that time, letting them carry traces of place and memory. While writing, I also began building my Eurorack modular system, slowly integrating its sounds into the tracks as they took shape.
'Almost Autumn' reflects a quiet cycle of the year — the slow transitions, inner stillness, and changing atmosphere that come with time passing”.
