Muslimgauze - Hamas Arc (1993)

Muslimgauze - Hamas Arc (1993)

BAND/ARTIST: Muslimgauze

“Hamas Arc” is one of Muslimgauze’s most successful releases, recorded during his “ultra-creative” period in 1993. This EP is unique because it includes remixed material from the now-canceled album “Shekel Of Israeli Occupation”, which will never see a standalone release. Also featured are two remixes from the album “Vote Hezbollah” (released by Soleilmoon).

The EP symbolizes the close relationship between Staalplaat, Muslimgauze, and Soleilmoon, who are alternating releases of his work. A Manchester-based artist, Muslimgauze created a unique sonic identity by blending Arabic and European instrumental styles, anchored by percussion and drums. His music consistently reflects political commentary, with early works inspired by events in Palestine, Afghanistan, and Iran, and more recent ones dedicated to controversial groups like Hezbollah and Hamas.
