Lammping is a Toronto-based psychedelic rock collective built around the boundary-pushing vision of composer/producer Mikhail Galkin and drummer Jay Anderson. Blending '90s New York hip-hop aesthetics, Beach Boys-style harmonies, skate culture, and DIY ethos, Lammping is a genre-bending project where nothing is off limits. Known for their experimental sound collages, hypnotic grooves, and fuzzed-out melodies, the band will release four wildly different albums over the next year. The first, a collab with Montreal rockabilly madman Bloodshot Bill, delivers a sample-heavy psychedelic freak-out full of raw energy and playful unpredictability. Lammping’s live shows transform into a 5-piece powerhouse with Toronto scene stalwarts rounding out the lineup. For fans of sonic exploration and psych-rock that refuses to sit still.
