Their self-titled debut album blends metallic drones, custom-built instruments, robotic rhythms, and alien vocalizations, challenging fixed notions of genre, future, and identity.
Drawing influence from folk, doom metal, industrial, minimalism, and noise, the album explores the human-machine interface through unorthodox instrumentation: Guðnadóttir’s halldorophone, Slater’s self-oscillating drum, Ginzburg’s monocord-inspired device, and Shabara’s voice — transformed via extended techniques into mechanical and primal sounds.
