Julia Korkman - Lauluja rikosrekisteristä (2025)

At the time of writing, singer Julia Korkman is a Professor of Practice at the Faculty of Law and an Adjunct Professor at the Department of Psychology at Åbo Akademi University, Finland. She serves as a Senior Programme Officer with the European Institute for Crime Prevention and Control, affiliated with the United Nations, and is the elected President of the European Association of Psychology and Law. She has worked for many years on investigations with crimes against children and has conducted research on topics such as memory in the legal context, investigative interviewing, and eyewitness identifications. Additionally, she has researched asylum processes, sexual crime investigations, child abuse disclosures and virtual justice, and has been an expert witness in numerous court cases in Finland and Sweden. She currently works on criminal policy issues, particularly focusing on the situation of crime victims in criminal justice processes, and is also a writer of popular science. This is her third solo album.
