In the latter half of the 1950s, doo-wop groups were topping the charts with hits such as "When You Dance" by the Turbans in 1955 and "Book of Love" by the Monotones in 1958, and the trend continued until finally a mixed black-white group hit No. 1 in 1961. In 1961, Colpix Records released "Blue Moon," a mega-hit that stayed at No. 1 for three weeks.The music was arranged and produced by Stu Phillips, who is famous for his TV and movie music, and although it has been covered by many artists since then, Marcelles is still the best. Although this album is lined with great songs, it is the first Japanese CD release. First CD release in Japan
