Edge's career spans both visual arts and music; he has been part of various bands, including The Ideots, Thee Spivs, and Ben Edge and The Electric Pencils, before embarking on a solo acoustic project. His artwork focuses on folklore and storytelling, depicting the lives of ordinary people in an extraordinary manner. His work is inspired by the colorful characters and storytellers he encountered in his childhood, as well as his later discovery of British seasonal customs and rituals.
