The Bridge House was a unique live venue, a large pub that had live music every night of the week. It was where bands such as Iron maiden, The Blues Band, Depeche Mode stared their careers and others such as Rory Gallagher and Stevie Marriott finished off theirs. All proceeds from sales go towards the upkeep of the Bridge House website and digital transfer of the Bridge House archives.
The release of this album was the highlight of the Bridge House's success. The location formed a record and publishing company and at that time it was the only pub in the world with it's own record label. This was a Chris Thompson production and he really worked his socks off, having to not only deal with his own band Filthy McNasty, but for the other bands as well.
