BED - everything hurts (2025)

Head to Berlin to meet a mysterious band called BED. This queer trio formed in 2021 and composed of Argentinian Sol Astolfi (bass), Chilean Nicolás Astorga (vocals), and German Ema Schiller (guitar), is ready to liven up your long summer evenings with the release of their debut album, Everything Hurts.

What has made BED famous is their ability to shamelessly blend shoegaze, dream-pop, and post-punk while incorporating subtle ambient and rave sounds for a touch of originality. And let me tell you, we're plunged into a hazy and ethereal atmosphere with the introductory title track, both melodic and noisy, which will captivate us before giving way to other nocturnal and immersive compositions such as "Throat" and "Slut," which will heighten the tension.

There's talk of burning desire throughout this album, "Everything Hurts," which raises the temperature, particularly during the songs "You're Not My Real Sun," as well as "Burn Slow," and "Heart Shaped Bed."
