Giulio Martino, Pietro Iodice, and Gianluigi Goglia. Three great expressions of the most noble “Neapolitan musical craftsmanship.” Three undisputed masters of jazz give rise to a pianoless project of exceptional workmanship. Never a failure, ever get the feeling that the lack of a harmonic instrument (such as piano or guitar or whatever) can be a deficit. On the contrary, the huge surprise of a job enjoyable, where the lyrical inspiration of saxophonist Martino finds a fertile and inexhaustible reference point both in the superlative drumming, never discounted,by Iodice, both in the perfect work of the young Goglia on bass, who creates not only a rhythmic support but also a full harmonic sustain , with a great sound.

A very original trio, by high-impact, highly imaginative, and which stands out for originality among projects appeared on the italian and european jazz scene in recent years. A repertoire that ranges from interpretations of American standards (from Monk to Van Heusen, by Strayhorn to Waldrom) and original pieces of excellent workmanship. A sound quite unique thanks to the instrumental plane (bass, drums and sax), but also and especially to the idea of the musicians who were able to create a project of high quality and deep expression.
