After a 15-year hiatus, Atlanta rock trio Dropsonic returns with their self-titled seventh album, released on May 16, 2025, via Spartan Records. Co-produced by the band and Alice In Chains frontman William DuVall, the album maintains Dropsonic's signature blend of thunderous riffs, fiery solos, and tight rhythms, while introducing sharper clarity and emotional depth. DuVall, a longtime friend and collaborator, contributed backup vocals on the lead single "Honeytrap" and provided guidance throughout the recording process, praising the band as "one of the best rock bands to come out of America in the last thirty years" .
