Per amarti is the eighth studio album by Italian singer Mia Martini, released on 20 October 1977 by the label Come Il Vento and distributed by RCA Italiana. The album marks the beginning of her collaboration with Ivano Fossati, who contributed the songs "Sentimento" and "Se finisse qui" (a cover of Supertramp's "Give a Little Bit"). The title track, "Per amarti," written by Bruno Lauzi and Maurizio Fabrizio, stands out as one of Martini's most acclaimed performances. Martini also provided the Italian lyrics for Queen's "Somebody to Love," recorded as "Un uomo per me." Another notable track, "Da capo," penned by Riccardo Cocciante, was also recorded by Mina in the same year.
