Dixie Hustler - Dixie Hustler (2006)

Dixie Hustler formed in 2002 with founding members Eric Allen, Chris Baker, Clay Frink, Shawn Ramsey and Daniel Coburn. Two albums were recorded and they established themselves as a must see live band before going on indefinite hiatus. After a 5 year break, Dixie Hustler is excited to re-group and write new music with some old friends and new faces. DH is privileged to have shared the stage with many bands including Lynyrd Skynyrd, Shinedown, Blackberry Smoke, Crossfade, Brand-New Sin, North Mississippi Allstars, The Romantics, Murderdolls.

Bands and projects linked to Dixie Hustler include- Whitey Morgan and the 78's, Hill Country Revue, Kid Brother Collective, Spit,
Sour Jane, and the Dirty Cowboy.

While Dixie Hustler was on hiatus, many of the founding members went on to blaze new musical paths.
-Eric Allen went on to form Whitey Morgan and the 78's and have toured the country relentlessly.
-Chris Baker started his solo acoustic country project called "the Dirty Cowboy / Christopher Duane". His music can be found here, on our fan page, so please take a minute and listen to some good old fashioned country tunes written by Chris.
-Daniel Robert Coburn sang for the Detroit based band "Left in Ruin" which featured members of the Suicide Machines which eventually turned into "Hellmouth". He moved down to Memphis TN. for 4 years and sings for "Hill Country Revue" which includes members of The North Mississippi Allstars. "HCR" is still together although Daniel has moved home to Michigan to be closer to his family.
-Dusty Brill is an old friend of Dixie Hustler. He has played with many bands that have inspired DH over the years. He was also a touring drummer for the band "Good Charlotte".
