I know that it’s ‘each to their own’ and all art is ‘subjective’ to the viewer; but Ian McNabb’s music has continued to excite me ever since the first night I saw him on a Friday night after being virtually dragged to Newcastle’s legendary Riverside Club many, many years ago… and it genuinely was my “I’ve seen the future of rock n roll’ nights!
Subsequently I’ve seen him in umpteen guises across the UK and own absolutely every album he’s released under his own moniker or the Icicle Works; so any and every new release is awaited with baited breath.
Ian was the first person I knew to operate a Crowdfunder for his albums; which makes complete sense and also a sense of excitement when he finally starts posting CD!
