In 2024, Annett Louisan celebrated the 20th anniversary of her debut album ‘Bohème’. A new edition with bonus material (remix / live) is now being released.

Annett Louisan's debut album is entitled ‘Bohème’ and contains an extraordinary mixture of sweet pop gems and sugary-sweet vulgarities. The 25-year-old Hamburg native was produced by lyricist Frank Ramond, who forges first-class songs from her stories and experiences that are unrivalled in terms of lyrical sophistication and melody.

First of all, it is the voice that captivates. Annett has a very delicate, seductive pixie voice, so close to the ear that you can feel her breath brush across your face. The relaxed arrangements and the French-inspired boulevard jazz instrumentation are an elegant match for this voice. This allows Annett to light-footedly and effortlessly aim the content of the songs precisely at the heart, stomach and senses, where they instantly take hold and won't let go any time soon.

In her first single ‘Das Spiel’, Annett knows only too well how much she makes her partner go crazy, but cheekily claims ‘I just want to play, I'm not doing anything’! As an alternative to the original album version of the track, the radio mix captivates with Werner Becker's flair for spot-on string arrangements.
