Renato Sellani, Max De Aloe, Massimo Moriconi, Stefano Bagnoli - Il Poeta (2001)

Great style, taste and love for music, as expression of an inner world more then mere virtuosity, are the Renato Sellani’s characteristic, certainly one of the most famous and highly rated italian jazz musicians. Since more than eighteen years Sellani has been performing with Massimo Moriconi, one of the most important double bass player in Europe, in the opinion of critics, the unexceptionable and imaginative drum rhythmic of Stefano Bagnoli and the sound of Max De Aloe and his chromatic harmonica complete a perfect jazz quartet. De Aloe is one of the best italian musician on this instrument, and he makes this quartet give to the audience the maximum expressivity ever had in a live performance.
The band performs some jazz standard together with bossanova and other composition by Renato Sellani and other italian classics in jazz sessions.
