Invictam represents Olivia Font’s solo debut, an album co-produced with producer and composer Pedro Vian, set to be released in early 2025 under his label, Modern Obscure Music. This work explores themes of resilience and adaptation after loss, developing these ideas through a sonic journey that blends strings, analog synthesizers, electronics, and experimental percussion. The narrative is guided by a female voice, which, although not the central element, appears intermittently throughout the album, creating a discontinuous line across time. As the work progresses, the voice transforms and evolves, playing a key role in creating vocal textures that reinforce and enrich the musical concept of the album.

The compositions of Invictam are built on long and repetitive melodic patterns that go beyond simple reiteration, offering a profound exploration of time and its flow. This structure, which deviates from conventional forms, invites constant reflection on return and repetition, creating an immersive experience. The repetition not only generates a sense of continuity but also allows a meditation on transience and the passing of seasons, revealing the relationship between the fleeting and the eternal. Each melodic cycle, then, serves as an invitation to introspection, uncovering new layers with each repetition.

The album Invictam will feature internationally renowned collaborations, including British cellist Oliver Coates, known for his work on various acclaimed soundtracks and albums, including Aftersun (2022). The album will also include the participation of actress and singer Ana San Martín, recognized for her exceptional vocal control and her presence in theater productions like Mar i Cel. Additionally, Pedro Vian, music producer and founder of the Modern Obscure Music label, will not only play a key role in the production but will also contribute a track of his own, bringing his innovative vision and ensuring the artistic quality of the album from start to finish.
