Swiss band **Last Leaf Down**, originally founded in 2003 with a doom metal sound, shifted towards shoegaze after vocalist/guitarist **Benjamin Schenk** joined in 2007. Their dreamy, atmospheric style earned acclaim with their 2014 debut *Fake Lights* and the 2017 follow-up *Bright Wide Colder*, solidifying their place in the shoegaze and post-rock scene.
