Curt Jones is an American singer, guitarist, songwriter, and producer who began his music career in the mid-1970s as a member of the legendary funk group **Slave**, known for albums like *Just a Touch of Love* and *Stone Jam*. In the 1980s, he co-founded the group **Aurra**, working with vocalist Starleana Young to create R&B and funk hits such as *Are You Single* and *Make Up Your Mind*. Later, the group evolved into **Deja**, achieving chart success with the hit *You & Me Tonight*, which reached No. 1 on the Billboard R&B chart.
Throughout the 1990s and 2000s, Jones continued touring internationally and worked as a successful producer, including co-producing an album for the group **Baha Men**. In recent years, he has released several solo albums and produced his wife Ceci Jones’ debut project. She now performs with him as the lead female vocalist in the *Curt Jones and Aurra* show.
