Toi et moi - Mon armoire (2025)

The Cologne duo toi et moi has long since established a firm place in the German music scene with its nouvelle chansons with a multi-faceted sound and poetic lyrics. The new album mon armoire is a fascinating journey through the diversity of human experience.

The playful, positive and groovy title track mon armoire is a symbol, a cupboard as a repository for mes amours of memories, experiences and emotions. For the German-French musician Raphaël Hansen, who produced the new album and spent his childhood in both Germany and France, the memories of the time spent with his French family on his mother's side are of great importance. mon armoire is his own journey through these memories and the cupboard is his personal memory.

As with the previous albums, Raphaël Hansen and Julia Klomfaß first worked on the pieces as a duo, which were then joined by their friends and tour companions Madalena Graca (double bass) and Bodo von Zitzewitz (drums).

The acoustic duo thus becomes an energetic band that not only tells of memories, but also of the power of music to touch people.
