Pantograph Rec. has just released a new album, which will be the labels tenth release. To mark this occasion, we will be treated to completely different sounds. The Enslaved Species is the first album of a musical project brought to life by Tomasz Zelek. Finem Illusionis primarily explores dark ambient, accompanied by glitch aesthetics and various experiments with electronic music. The released material is heavily influenced by industrial stylings and minimalism, which the creator has been fascinated with for a very long time. The tracks included on the album come from different periods of Tomasz Zeleks creative activity, but only now has the right time come to finalize the work and release it under the banner of Finem Illusionis. In earlier years, Tomasz focused on creating electronic music in other projects with a more club-oriented vibe. Meanwhile, over the years, a fascination with the dark side of ambient and experimental electronic music grew within him. Around 20 years ago, the first works began to take shape, but they never saw the light of day. Recently, a strong desire to explore this space resulted in the completion of the tracks for the album The Enslaved Species. This is definitely not club music, but it is an interesting offering for enthusiasts of dark, illustrative music with philosophical and spiritual undertones. During the creation of the material, the artist was accompanied by reflections on the future of the human species and its dark, yet true nature—a topic that no one dares to speak about.
