Roger Knott - Pull The Plough That Furrows Deepest (2024)

Roger Knott is an English singer/songwriter. After leaving school Roger was performing in a theatrical music play when spotted by Rob Burns. Rob asked Roger to join his band as a replacement guitarist/songwriter and along with drummer Alan Culley formed the original lineup of Lifeblud. The band would play live and record an acetate in 1970 and would call it a day in 1972. In recent years Seelie Court Records has released all of the surviving Lifeblud recordings including the lost acetate on 2 LP’s and a couple of CDs. Songs have also appeared on various artists collections. For the next couple of decades while pursuing a career outside music, Mr. Knott continued writing songs under the Lifeblud moniker and would occasionally play live. In 2004 came an opportunity to record in Nashville where over several years he would record 140 songs. Just last year American label Think Like A Key Records released the 2 CD set “Nashville Sessions”. And more releases of Roger’s material are upcoming.
