A precious live recording of Fukushima Tanmen Iwao, a stand-up singer who has been singing blues for over half a century and is one of Japan's proudest artists, performing with Fukushima Iwao & The Midnighters in the early days of Japanese blues in the 1970s, at the legendary live house Mondo in Minowa, Tokyo, has been unearthed.

The bass is played by Masami Watanabe, known as Nabe, who later joined JAGATARA.
