Chris Jasper - Praise The Eternal (1992)

Former Isley Brothers member Chris Jasper's gospel debut Praise the Eternal could be described as sparkling, contemporary gospel with quiet storm overtones. Earnest vocals enliven the gentle album openers "Thank You Jesus" and "Praise the Eternal." The singer puts a new spin on remakes of his own "The Son of Man," from Superbad, and the Isley/Jasper/Isley number one R&B hit "Caravan of Love" from Caravan of Love.
