Just months after gaining recognition with the **AMG Extended** reissue of their self-produced debut, the young **Parisian jazz quartet AMG** is back with a new **live album**, recorded at the legendary **rue des Lombards club**, where they first made their mark in 2022.
Led by **pianist Antoine Fleury**, the group's musical direction is deeply rooted in **post-Coltrane jazz**, with energetic performances of previously released tracks (*Jammu, Kashmir, Naja*). However, this live recording also introduces new compositions by **bassist Anthony Jouravsky** (*Low Kick, Eudaemonia*), offering a more structured and arranged **modern jazz** perspective.
With **Keïta Janota** on **alto and soprano saxophones**, **Mailo Rakotonanahary** on **drums**, and a dynamic interplay of poly-rhythms, AMG demonstrates both youthful energy and a growing artistic maturity. The band stands at an exciting crossroads, balancing improvisational fervor with evolving musical substance.
A **full studio album** is expected **by the end of the year**, promising to further refine their artistic vision. In the meantime, this **live recording** is a thrilling snapshot of a band on the rise.
