Brother Belmont - Transmissions Through The Nuclear Ash (2025)

The well-known figure of the Hungarian rock music scene, Tamas Joja (divideD, Iron Maidnem, Rockstars Not Dead) expands his musical career with a new, exciting and very personal chapter. On February 14, he released his first solo album, Brother Belmont, entitled Transmissions through the Nuclear Ash. The album is not only a look back at the work of Tamas Joja so far, where he demonstrated his talent and versatility in many different productions, but also a bold step forward, reflecting his individual musical ideas. After listening to the Ric$Cast, in which he talked to Richard the coal burner about the album, I am absolutely sure that it was a real matter of the heart for him, a project in which he could finally be completely himself, and in which all kinds of influences from his musical roots to the bands he liked to listen to appear. After the demise of divideD in 2024, Tamas Joja decided to implement his own musical ideas in a solo project. Brother Belmont is a creation with a personal tone, in which the spirit of divideD lives on on some level, but it is complemented by new, exciting directions. The album was produced by renowned musicians such as guitarist Jani Szentkingeri and keyboardist/bassist Drahota Geri, who also produced the album. What can we expect from Tom?
