One Niter is the second album by Austrian musicians, on which they turned to symphonic progressive, having three keyboardists at once (the band's equipment is captured in the photo of the backdrop in the style of Floyd's Ummagumm). The material was recorded by Jurgen Koppers from April to June and mixed in June/July 1976 in Munich. The arrangements were performed by the band's musicians, who also produced the album together with Uli Rutzel. Each side of the original vinyl contains one multi-part suite (Circles and One Niter Medley) plus one or two shorter tracks. Musically, the album is a powerful fusion of melodic flood-like symphonic rock with jazz, hard rock and funk, which is uncommon in this style, as well as classical elements. The CD is mostly instrumental with an abundance of all kinds of keyboards, bright flute passages and technical guitar notes. Competently constructed in terms of composition, it is a very inventive and worthy work.
