With Tom Petty's 'Greatest Hits' about to launch in five days' time, the 43-year-old rocker took to the stage in Gainesville for one of just 3 shows performed that year with his old Mudcrutch Heartbreakers boys Mike Campbell, Benmont Tench and Stan Lynch to celebrate 17 years of The Heartbreakers. Coupled with highlights from Petty's 'Full Moon Rising' solo album, and a handful of fresh material from the band's most recent work, 'Into The Great Wide Open', the Gainesville natives make a welcome return to home ground for a special one-off syndicated broadcast performance that boasts all of their hits and more.
