Following many rejections from record companies, 'Bat Out Of Hell' was finally released in October 1977. These two remarkable performances at New York's Bottom Line Club on 28th November that year were broadcast on WNEW-FM and feature almost all of the album - and more besides. They find Meat Loaf in superb voice, backed by his Neverland Express band, and are presented here with background notes and images.
