Family Four - Family Four Show (1975)

8 years before the emergence of the great ABBA quartet, the pop-folk quartet Family Four appeared in Sweden, which originally really consisted entirely of relatives, brothers and sisters - Berndt Öst, Inger Öst, Siw Öst and Stig Öst. After Stig Ost's sudden death in 1966, the band members began to gradually change, and by 1969 only guitarist and composer Berndt Öst remained from the original quartet, but it was in this composition that it became the most successful version of the band, which included Berndt Öst, Agnetha Munther, Marie Bergman and Pierre Isacsson. The updated Family Four even recorded a joint album "Kör långsamt" in 1969 with a former member of the Inger Öst collective, won the Swedish Melodifestivalen song contest twice, and participated in the Eurovision Song Contest twice - in 1971 and 1972.
After releasing several solid albums at the junction of pop and folk music with a small admixture of smoot jazz, the band broke up, although Berndt Öst continued to perform at concerts with the band's songs in various musical compositions. Another of the members, Marie Bergman, began her successful solo career, and not only released 13 albums of her own composition, but also established herself as a successful music producer.
