Project Gemini (Paul Osborne) is reissuing his critically acclaimed second album *Colours & Light* as a deluxe edition, adding fresh layers to its original kaleidoscopic psych-funk sound. Alongside two new versions of existing tracks, Osborne unveils “Darkness Rising”—an unreleased cut from the original sessions laced with wah-wah guitar, heavy bass, and swirling synths. Several remixers then reimagine the album’s distinctive fusion of folk rock, psychedelic soundscapes, and cinematic funk. Jack Sharp (Wolf People/Large Plants) lends a darker, distortion-heavy perspective to “After The Dawn,” Wyndham Earl offers two acid-infused, dreamlike interpretations of “Lost In The Woods” and the title track, Markey Funk adds a hypnotic cosmic edge to “Entre chien et loup,” and Call Sender injects breakbeat energy into another version of “Lost In The Woods.” With its mix of new material and adventurous remixes, this deluxe edition remains faithful to the original album’s themes of light and shade, while offering fans a deeper dive into Project Gemini’s otherworldly sonic palette. Project Gemini will support the Brian Jonestown Massacre on the first leg of their UK tour in February 2025.
