The album *Disco Roar* by Atomic Forest, recorded around 1977, was created at the request of Bollywood producers who wanted to release a disco record. The album features the original composition "Spectrum" along with covers of songs by artists such as Chicago, Hot Chocolate, Deodato, and Stevie Wonder. "Spectrum" is considered one of the most powerful examples of psychedelic funk to come out of India.
Initially, the album was released under the name of Keith Kanga in 1981. Later, in 2019, the label Now-Again Records reissued *Disco Roar*, giving listeners the opportunity to discover this rare recording.
