MAJESTIC CROSBY & NASH BROADCAST, WITH CAROLE KING FEATURED, FROM THE DUO S WIND ON THE WATER TOUR IN 1975 After the summer 1974 tour by Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, the quartet made a second attempt to record a new CSNY studio album. Like the attempt from 1973, this proved fruitless however, although the track Through My Sails , recorded at these sessions, showed up on Neil Young s 1975 Zuma album. Instead the four individuals pursued their own directions, Young forming a new version of Crazy Horse to record Zuma, and Stephen Stills resuming his solo career with a new album in early 1975. David Crosby and Graham Nash opted to reactivate the partnership that had yielded tours in 1971 and 1973 and an album in 1972. This time they made it a going concern, signing a three-album deal with ABC Records, of which Wind On The Water was the first, released on September 15 1975. In the wake of the record coming out, the pair went out on the road together, and on 24th November 75 played one of the tour s finest concerts at Berkeley s prestigious Zellerbach Hall, where they were joined on stage by the legendary Carole King. Recorded for live FM Radio broadcast, this superb show is now finally available for fans to hear, some 45 years after it took place.
