Matt Dwonszyk - Wonderful World (2019)

The first album as a leader by bassist Matt Dwonszyk from Rocky Hill, a suburb of Connecticut. Studied under Nat Reeves at the Jackie McLean Institute of Jazz at the University of Hartford, founded by Jackie McLean. The members are from the Jackie MacLean Institute, and Steve Davis also participates! A fulfilling work that updates the hard bopism of yesteryear with a modern feel.
