Epourall is an invitation to ballroom dancing and intimate listening, all in the same generous vein. 60 minutes in which the energy of Poitevine dance and the poetry of lament mingle, whether transmitted or freshly composed. The 12 tracks are devoted to the songs and music of the region. “Epourall” is that poetic, inspiring scarecrow in the middle of a countryside scorned by the performance industry. A song that pierces above the machines. The singularity of the Poitevin language and its symbolic power are given pride of place. The trio decided to invite two percussionists to join their skin to the sweat of the dance, as well as a banjo, to recall the popular orchestras of the interwar period.
