For their latest release, fast-rising German imprint Inhale Exhale has called on the services of former Nite Grooves artist Meeshoo (real name Mihail Maksimov). He's delivered an expansive set of high-grade house jams tailor-made for peak-time dancefloors. Of the six original productions on show, our picks are the horn-heavy bounce of title track 'Confetti', the deeper and dreamier 'Llost' [sic], the alien nu-disco-goes-house flex of 'Floating' and the piano-powered, mid-tempo warmth of 'Mr Bright'. To complete the mini-album, Inhale Exhale has thrown in a trio of remixes: a jazzy, acid-flecked romp through 'Confetti' by Scruscru, Craftmanship's tough, analogue-rich deep house pass on 'Llost', and Wosal's gorgeous, ambient style 'French Exit' version of 'Mr Bright'.
